We need to stop assuming.

I’m guilty of it too as I sometimes have the occasional case of assumptions. When you’re so involved with your product, service or industry you often times forget that everyone else needs the basic info before you make that hard sell.

Try to keep in mind that you need to engage your customer with a fantastic offer, explain why your peanuts taste better than Joe’s peanuts and hold their hand through the sales funnel.

I like to use this analogy because it’s easy to understand and just because we’ve moved our marketing efforts online let’s not forget the basics. I’m sure it’s safe to assume that anyone reading this is most likely running a few paid search campaigns or they’re playing around with the idea.

As you go through your campaigns from start to finish, are you holding your customers hand and guiding them to the final goal? It’s easy to get caught up with Google’s quality score, your ad’s CTR% and if your bid is high enough to be in the top 3 positions. Remember paid search means more than keywords, bids and ad copy. I have touched on the other equation of paid search but remember even with a great CTR on your ad and so forth, you might not convert your visitors as they land on your page. Take the same time you do with your ad copy on your landing page. Keeping it all relevant and really selling your product, offer or service before you push for the hard sell will raise conversion.

Now go back to your campaigns and see if you’re guiding your visitors down the wrong path. You might be surprised.

If you’ve moved to the internet to grow your business, chances are you’ve danced in the paid search arena. Some businesses try to take it on themselves, while others find a paid search management agency right from the get go. Taking on the paid search side of internet marketing is daunting, overwhelming and in less then a week you can easily throw away money just from testing things out. Here’s where paid search management steps in.

Using a paid search management service is no different then hiring an electrician to do your homes electrical work. Sure, you can try to wire the basement you’re finishing but after a while of trying to figure it out you’ll be setting up a time for an electrician to come out and do the job right.

There’s more to Paid Search then just how many “Keywords” you have

Yes, we know you have to write compelling, sales driven ads, use split testing on those ads, manage bids, etc. but that’s not what I’m referring too. I’m talking about what you’re really looking for as a business owner.

Your bottom line.

Are the ads you’re writing really using the right Call To Action that will make sales? Are those really the right keywords? Are the keywords you’re bidding on sending your visitors to the right landing page?

Oh yes, landing pages. Something most people forget is the other 50% of the paid search equation. Yes, you can finally find the right keywords, write ads with a high CTR (click through rate) but what happens when the visitor lands on at your desired destination? Are you pages equipped to close the deal?

What’s my bottom line to this? Here at Net Media Group, our paid search management services focus on the all parts of the paid search equation and because of that our clients see the results their looking for.

The Paid Search Landscape is Constantly Changing

Did you know that Google changed their search algorithm over 450 times last year?

With that being said, wouldn’t it be nice to have an agency who was in the know and could make sure your marketing efforts are relevant? Net Media Group understands the market trends and is up to date with how things are constantly shifting with the search engines.

If you’re looking to grow your companies bottom line with paid search don’t be afraid to hire an agency who knows the ins and outs.

To learn more about Net Media Group’s proven paid search management give us a call at (801) 365-0057 and we’ll contact you within 24 business hours.
